  The Coronado
The day in San Diego was rainy and being travel-worn, we parked ourselves at the Sheerwater restaurant at the Hotel del Coronado. I was out cold at 8 pm after the long rainy drive from LA. San Diego itself looked lovely (from the car) and is definitely worth another proper visit.
